Councillor Mike Petryna is shown above in 2002 at the official re-naming of the former St. Jean School building as ."Minnow Lake Place" home of Minnow Lake Days.
Besides making use of the spacious grounds of Minnow Lake Place, the Festival uses one of the two community access rooms for an art display and face painting. Also the Gym was used for children's activities. The large washrooms were more than adequate to handle the many people that attend the event. Minnow Lake Place is a valuable asset to the City.
